which only covers 3 sq. km. A ferrylink from snaptun
The Hjarnø Ferry brings you to the island in only 7 minutes.
The permanent population consists of 135 people and, besides
the various private properties, you will also find a cosy campsite
and a pleasant café. The cosy camp site at Hjarnø
Hjarnø Camping has sea kayaks for rent.
An abundant plant and bird life, pleasant beaches, and a walk
around the island in an afternoon are some of the delightful
experiences that await you on Hjarnø.
The island is well known for its Viking graves and the small
church, which is in fact the second smallest church in Denmark.
